Installation & compatibility

Can I install Altrèse products myself?
Quite possibly! In some cases, local regulations allow you to replace an existing product with a similar one, such as replacing one dimmer with another. However, electrical regulations change frequently and can be tricky to interpret, and connecting electrical equipment is generally not a job for amateurs. We strongly recommend getting help from a certified electrician.

Can Altrèse arrange installation for me?
Unfortunately not, but we may know good electricians in your area who have experience installing Altrèse products. Just ask!

Are Altrèse products compatible with Plejd and other centralised lighting control systems?
Good news: we've tested extensively with systems like Plejd and they work wonderfully! Typically, you'll want to use the Touch modules for dimming and on/off control. These are also known as Momentary, Push-to-make or Impulse switches, which is what Plejd and similar systems need. Toggle and Rotary Dimmer modules are not compatible.

Buying Altrèse

Do you offer volume discounts?
We have a very clear discount structure. Orders over 30,000 SEK receive 10% off, and orders over 40,000 SEK receive 15% off. Fair and simple — and applied automatically at checkout.

Do you offer trade discounts for architects, electricians and other resellers?
If you're interested in a long-term arrangement or have a large project, get in touch with us to discuss your needs.

Can I pick up my order in person?
If you're in a rush and you're in the Stockholm area, we can usually help. Get in touch!

Do you have a physical store?
For the foreseeable future, we'll be online only.

Do you have a product catalogue?
For the moment, we rely on our lovely configurator to show off the collection, and our Instagram for inspiration. But we know sometimes you just want a PDF, so we're working on a catalogue and will publish it here when it's ready.

Do you offer home visits where we can see the products and go through the different options?
If you're in the Stockholm area and would like to arrange a home visit, get in touch. A visit takes around 45–60 minutes and costs 1,000 SEK. We'll deduct this from any order over 20,000 SEK.

You like our style but want something really different?
